    @monk58 Agreed. To clarify the dogs we walk by are constantly barking, they are as I write this. They trigger my dog and when that happens is when I train. If they are quiet when we go by I am SO grateful. I also use the park and other public places.

    @mellowmary I am guilty of these 😞 but not daily, just to be clear and the dogs I do this by are in the yard, I would never do this to a dog that's inside, I'd be afraid they'd come thru the window if they got agitated enough. I will keep this in mind when I do my training walk by the "barky...

    In the wiki it states that prong collars, e collars, and chokes can cause intimidation. Is a slip lead a “choke”?

    @brothersnook I've never thought of a slip lead as a training lead, more for taking in and out of trial rings e.g. agility, FastCAT, barn hunt.
