Adopting a puppy soon - need advice on puppy's temperament (video below)

@mommyailish Based on the breeds he will definitely love you and have a strong connection with you, but he’s a LGD/sled dog mix so he will probably never have the attentiveness of a herding group dog

Adopting a puppy soon - need advice on puppy's temperament (video below)

@mommyailish What breeds do you know? That will give you a much better idea than a short video. He looks like a good confident pup to accept being touched by a human without any cowering or anything in that short video, and reasonably confident to wonder off to explore by himself

    New puppy quick q’s

@alwaystruth the danger of illness in your yard is probably very low, unless you have unknown dogs in there. We never used pee pads with ours and potty training was a breeze. Pee pads can definitely confuse puppies and it is easier to teach toilet training once rather than twice. Poop training...

Is it possible my puppy is overstimulated by the tv?

@1corithians13 That time of day is the normal puppy witching hour, when it’s their bedtime or almost their bedtime and they’re crazy over tired so lose all the behavioral boundaries they have learned. If puppy sounds works for you dog that’s great, but you could also try enforcing a nap or...

@cinnamint Yes. Everytime we leave our dog with the sitter I am so nervous and waiting to get texted photos
