    @dks I have a family friend who is a serial "ancient dog adopter". She always has one or two, and gives them the best golden years that she can. Sometime she'll have them for a few years, other times they pass on within a year, but she'll be damned if they aren't comfortable and loved.

    @beautytoashes My boy (7 at adoption, 8 now) has this pretty face. He was also very "unaffectionate" when I first met him, he would only pay attention if I had food.
