    @di1 We have an Aussie (3) a heeler (2) and a golden (7mo) and they all play and coexist together really well… Aussie is the only female and she is the den mother for the 2 lunatic males. Our golden absolutely adores the heeler and tries to do whatever he does… they run and play and share toys...

    @asdfkasdf That is a great description of the difference of her barks… My boy ACD is very quiet. No whines, no barks… unless he is agitated. Squirrels get a muffled “get off my lawn bark” and so far the only other bark was heard when our bug guy (who does not go in the fenced back yard) rested...

    @iampassionate You got the right dog! And they do cuddle occasionally… on their terms. At least that is how my boy does it.

    @iampassionate My boy ACD is 1.5 and he bites me… but it is clearly communicating or playing. As a younger puppy he was more free and easy with the teeth and would bite out of fun, fear, frustration… you name it. He grew out of that phase and is a much easier dog to be around. He needs a job...

    I don’t know if I’m feeding her the right food??

    @muilen I feed my Golden puppy Purina Pro Plan Puppy Lamb and Rice on the advice of my vet and he has been great. My vet sells some foods (this is not one of them) but he said he really likes it and has a lot of patients that have great luck with it and it is consistent and easy to find.
